What do you get when you put a Hollywood soundstage, a rain machine, and a golf cart together? Isaac Mizrahi. This season, Mizrahi showed his a**!The show was entitles Astaire Case (Ostacle Course) with menswear-ish elements that met the fifties era. Mizrahi held hints of deconstruction with jackets that had unfinished lapels. I think my favorite part of the collection was the sequined minidresses that are perfect for a cocktail night out. Oh, and the hirsute tinsel coat that was spotted on the runway screams premiere night down. Along with these, there were tulles that looked like they had been just wrapped about the body, floaty watercolor chiffons, and chic black and white numbers that were meant for a day on Palm Beach.
