Best In Show

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week flew south this week for Swim fashion week. All the hottest designers showcased their barely there designs in the hottest place in the U.S....Miami! Oh how I long for the humid and scorching hot weather as I put up with Michigan :-/.

Anywho I breezed through the shows to see who did what and who attended and I must say I was most impressed by Mara Hoffman. The exotic prints and graphics hooked me, and she has the most beautiful cover-ups.... adding to my longing for a beach(grrrr). AND! She had Whitney Port working her show...I guess she does really work, lol.

Ms. Simpson Sees Red...

Jessica Simpson has found her niche and stuck to it. I would imagine that her brand is making her a lot more money then her album sales. Missy's shoes always look good to me at Macy's and now she's teamed up with swimwear extraordinaire Red Carter to release a line of swimsuits. Now I know C Nic's heart just jumped for joy because we both witness Carter in action, and let me tell you...home boy don't play around. His show out shined every show in Miami fashion week last year.

I can already tell you to expect super feminine and flirty styles, and the prices are recession proof! Starting around $24.

See...we can still get our fix in this economy.
