Lattest news: Paris Hilton a year older, but no wiser at Fashion Week

Fashion Week cannot escape the celebutard whirlwinds that are the Hilton sisters.

First came the intense and deep conversation Paris and Nicky had with "American Idol" loser Kelly Pickler at Monday's Tracy Reese show.

"It's my 28th birthday party tonight at Butter," Paris cooed as they sat in the front row.

"Ooh, fun! What's Butter?" Pickler asked.

After Paris gave details about the downtown hot spot, the three blonds moved on to headier topics - like the star tattoos that adorn the country singer's arm.

"You should totally have one! You're, like, such a star," Pickler gushed to Paris.

The Hiltons then multitasked via BlackBerry, Googling and demanding free dresses while the show was underway. Nicky even e-mailed one poor staffer to say that none of the bags of free things sent to their hotel room "worked" for her, and she'd be needing more.

Later, at the Alice Olivia show, Paris got personal with fellow guests, saying she's "just friends" with "Hills" star Doug Reinhardt and debunking the rumor they've been dating. She then shared she's been in the studio "working on my second album. It's going to be fierce."

We'll ready our earplugs.

Finally, at her birthday dinner, Paris treated the main floor of Butter as if it were a runway, vamping back and forth before heading downstairs to dance on a banquette.

Also wandering about was Brandon Davis, who came complete with his now-famous layer of grease. The oil heir, who famously made Paris cry at her 26th birthday, didn't spend much time with the heirhead this year; she was too busy shaking her tiny ruffled skirt at the crowd. Davis did shoot a withering glare in the direction of Paris' ex-fiance, Stavros Niarchos, who was holding court in a nearby banquette.

And while Mickey Rourke showed up later, we're pretty sure he wasn't there to help Paris blow out the sparklers on her gianormous pink birthday cake.

Noticeably absent from the fete? Kelly Pickler. Maybe she couldn't find Butter after all.

- Eva Longoria Parker caused a stampede after Tuesday's Matthew Williamson show, with photogs knocking over a rack and trampling garments to get closer to her backstage. As a nearby model called the Desperate Housewife "so 2005!," the actress admitted she has yet to pick an Oscar gown but will lay low the rest of fashion week. "I'm going to see my husband's [NBA star Tony Parker] game," she said, "and that's about it."

- Fashion fans who shelled out $500 for Mercedes-Benz VIP Star Lounge access cards were in for a shock: Their cards were stolen. "Someone swiped a bunch of passes earlier this week and has been selling them as packages to people online," an insider tells us. Buyers beware: The badges were assigned by number, which are being checked at the lounge's door.

SEEN & HEARD: Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel girlfriend Bar Refaeli having dinner with a group of pals at Mr. Chow. ... Cameron Diaz carefully studying each display at "Bodies ... the Exhibition." ... Actor-turned-rocker Jared Leto popping into Bread for some nosh, as Josh Hartnett dined in the back.

WICKED WHISPER: Which F-list celeb had an abortion six months ago? We hear she's still not sure who the father was.

Brady began his glamorous affair with Gisele

It was such an un-gay week, people were getting married and/or engaged (and we all know that’s an activity the gays are not invited to participate in). Remember Tom Brady? The injured ex-Patriot (okay, he’s still on the team; I just liked the pun) has finally (and officially) become engaged to Leonardo DiCaprio’s former luvvah, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, to the tune of a diamond solitaire and a bitchy Bundchen rep who told People magazine, “We don’t comment on our clients’ private lives.”

Brady began his glamorous affair with Gisele a few years ago when he was dating actress Bridget Moynihan, best known for falling down the stairs while chasing Carrie Bradshaw out of Mr. Big’s apartment in season three of Sex and the City. After he left her for Gisele (and really, who wouldn’t? Even I might) she popped out his first kid. I suppose he could keep her around as a surrogate, since robbing the world of Gisele’s perfect figure would likely violate one or more of the Geneva Conventions.

And in case you hadn’t heard, Fergie let her London Bridges down this weekend and finally tied the knot with Josh Duhamel, making them my new second favorite celebrity couple (Douglas-Zeta-Jones will always have my heart) now that Witherspoon and Phillippe are a thing of the past (oh, but the Jolie-Pitts are up there, especially with their high profile pro-gay-marriage stance, but they’re not married so that’s different).

What does this have to do with the gay week in sports, you ask? Duhamel was the quarterback on his college football team. Granted, it was in North Dakota. And it wasn’t NCAA, but NAIA. And the team mascot was the beaver. But it’s enough to fill up some space here. And by the way…
