Good music is hard to deny. Regardless if that genre is what you prefer or not. Even though I am a personal fan of indie rock, a lot of my friends are not and they still rock to the sounds of Noisettes. Not "The" Noisettes. You have to be different with a name like that, it's no telling how many bands are out there called The Noisettes.
Even with the common name, their music and style is so different, so fresh. I love it! The group, which consists of Shingai Shoniwa on vocals and Bass, Dan Smith with backing vocals and Lead Guitar, and Jamie Morrison on the drums, was formed in 2003, but has just recently started making noise in the UK and in some parts of the states. Their still touring overseas and I am highly upset that their North American tour was cancelled due to "over-touring" (whatever the heck that is). I did catch their performance earlier this month on the Wendy Williams show, performing their hit "Never Forget You".
Let's keep our fingers crossed that they'll hit this side of the globe sooner or later. Hopefully, sooner than later.
