Boigny: Dr. Drinks teaches a 3 color martini against Ivory Coast + Promotion

We pass through North Korea. There was even a struggle, but I confess I always expect much from the selection canary, even playing against an Asian team.

It is an indication that times have changed. Football has changed and today, unfortunately, is passing and running, no more dribbling handsome, mischievous touch heel. I can not remember how many years I do not see a bicycle goal, has anyone noticed?

But it all has a reason for being: the European teams working with high performance culture is much more science than art. As our best players will inevitably play in those parts, logically soon not see the difference between the Brazilian who played barefoot in the slum and a blonde with blue eyes who played in the neighborhood soccer field.

Football outbursts aside, some things still bring me a happiness almost childlike. One is to make drinks for my friends in the days of games. I enjoyed playing with the guys in the headquarters of PdH. It was a lively session of drinks. And another is to see our work recognized in this column.

One of the biggest awards came from our great partner in Camiseteria opportunity to invite us to launch a special series of shirts designed exclusively for the World Cup. For this to have more sense nothing better than to abuse the creativity and create drinks with the colors of the flags of Brazil's opponents. Thankfully, at least in Round 1 Brazil did not play with any country flag striped ...
Dr. Boigny's Drinks Recipe

As the flag of Ivory Coast has three colors, we need to drink a little better. To have a killer look, that would set a martini.

The great secret of this drink is to work with different densities of drinks with flavors that marry well with each other and have the colors green, white and orange. So I decided to mix the sour Appletini with a full-bodied texture of the cream and the acidity of grapefruit juice or grapefruit.

To make Boigny, you will need:

* Glass of martini
* Ice
* Cocktail
* Gin
* Green Apple Syrup
Triple sec *
* Cream of milk
* Grapefruit juice (also known as grapefruit)

Put ice in martini glass and let the freezing while preparing the first layer of the drink. For the first layer put ice in a shaker, add half an ounce (1 / 2 oz = 30ml) of gin, 10 ml of syrup with green apple and a quick launch of triple sec. Beat well, remove the ice from the bowl and serve strained. Is ready to drink the first layer.

For the second layer, pour the cream gently making a thin layer on the basis of the Appletini. Use a spoon with my back and go serving so the cream run down the edge of the bowl, taking care not to smudge the edge, but disrupts the third color.

Served in the cream, go to the third layer: serves gently grapefruit juice (grapefruit) on the cream to complete the bowl.

The look of this drink is extremely interesting because it has three colors of the flag of the Ivory Coast. The complexity of flavors and experience that provides the mix of textures in the mouth was something that caught my attention when he created it. For well you enjoy all of this is very important that the drink is taken correctly. The martini glass looks small, but it is a lot of drinking - most have between 120 and 180 mL, and how not to use ice in this cup, this is a considerable amount of liquid. Since we do not use ice, you can not take much to drink, then the correct way is to take a martini sipping it in great gulps, because that is what will cause the layers to mix the drink only in your mouth.

The result of that experience comes in the form of staff: "Sensational."
