As The Seasons Change...

...so does the trends! So I'm here to let you guys know a few things to look out for while your shopping this summer - things to pick up & the things that will make your eyes burn if you look at them too long, lol.

Ladies first? Ok..so, the first thing I need you all to do is go in your closet and grab all your leggings. If you have leopard print, metallic, or black, save those for a rainy day. But all the other colors (red, blue, YELLOW!) need to be burned. That was a phase..and now it's time to move on. What's hot now is...

Maxi dresses! Once, mainly worn by bearing women, maxi dresses have become a huge fashion statement. They are a really simple outfit that goes great with little accessories and a pair of hot sandals (gladiator is still very in).

There are still things to watch out for while purchasing one of these dresses. Try to stay away from too much patterns. Solid colors and fade-away colors work great.

The 70's have also made their way back into our graces with the rebirth of floral print.

If you've been to any fashionable retail store lately, then you have to be blind to not see floral all over the place. At least that's what I witnessed when I walked into Forever 21. Everything from skirts to strapless dresses, sundresses, chiffon tops, & yes even maxi dresses are made in the form of floral print and need to be worn by all those aiming to dress to impress.

Now it's time for the fellas. If you take this offensive, I've done my job. All those plaid shorts you guys own...yeah, grab your closet trash bag and stuff every single pair of those pants in that bag and don't stop until they're all gone. All of them, I don't care how long it takes. Grab a pair of nice khaki shorts, they are always in style (not the cheap ones either!)

Another style this summer are tanks. Inspired by the west coast, these throw on tees are a great add to the wardrobe. You could even throw on a cool cardigan if the weather decides to be a little iffy on that day. Me, being the one to always make something out of nothing always has to add onto something. So I pin a couple buttons on my tank, throw a necklace around my neck and hit the road.

These are just a few of the things that everyone needs to keep an eye out for this summer. So don't ever say LLM never told you what not to wear, lol.
